Used to check for issues and to establish a baseline for future care, digital diagnostic equipment is adjustable to emit up to 90% less radiation than film x-rays and it’s much more environmentally friendly. We also use a small pen-sized camera – called an intraoral camera – so that we can show you what we see when we examine your mouth. It’s an amazing tool that gives you great insight into your dental treatment plan.
Meet your dentist and discuss your personal oral health needs and desires. After a thorough examination, the doctor will work with you to determine the personalized approach that will work best for you. We’ll set up a regular care schedule, design a treatment plan, and if you’re interested, discuss your cosmetic options. We will work with you to help you meet your goals.
At your first appointment, we take the time to get to know you and everything about your teeth, gums, and mouth to see a clear picture of your oral health needs and concerns. Because of this, we will spend a little extra time than we do with your regular maintenance hygiene appointments. We’ll also create a mouth-map that we’ll use to track changes over time. We’ll assess for any jaw joint issues and do a screening for oral cancer. Please take advantage of this appointment by asking any questions you have about homecare. Your hygienist is an expert at patient education and will happily give you all the help you need to take the best care of your smile.
At 2th Dental at St. Clair Bathurst, we want to ensure you leave our office with your questions asked and answered. From insurance and treatment options to questions about future care, we will give you clear answers to help you make the best decisions for your and your family’s personal situation.
Before your appointment, if you have any questions that can’t wait, please give us a call. At 2th Dental at St. Clair Bathurst, our first priority is meeting your needs. Your new Toronto dentist is only a phone call away!
